Get Your HPV Self-Sampling Kit

Taking care of your cervical health starts with a simple step.

Our HPV self-sampling kit makes screening more convenient and private. Get your kit, collect your sample at home or in a private place, and return it to us for testing.

  • Who Can Get a Kit?

HPV self-sampling is for eligible women who are due for cervical cancer screening.

Eligible women include women aged approximately 21–65 years old who:

  • Are sexually active.
  • Are overdue for screening.
  • Are busy professionals.
  • Are uncomfortable with pelvic examinations.
  • Have barriers to access, such as lack of transportation, being uninsured or underinsured, or financial hardship.
CHECK MY ELIGIBILITY
The department should approve the final eligibility wording and button destination before publication.

Stop by the SLS Main Building in Cay Hill during business hours.

Purchase

Pay for your kit at the front desk. Our staff will be happy to assist you.

Take Your Kit

Use the provided space at the lab or take your kit home and follow the instructions to collect your sample.
  • Important
  • Read all instructions before collecting your sample.
  • Do not use the kit if the package is damaged or the expiration date of the swab has passed.
  • Do not collect your sample during your period.
  • If you have symptoms such as unusual vaginal bleeding, discharge, or pelvic pain, contact your doctor before self-sampling.
  • A high-risk HPV result does not mean you have cancer. Follow the recommended next steps.
